There is no more important cause than the call for action to save the planet on which we live. The evidence is here. The time is now. Add your voice to the 488,028 already marching. Join us.

By joining THE STOP GLOBAL WARMING VIRTUAL MARCH, we commit to each other that together, as our numbers grow, we will use our collective voices to demand that governments, corporations, and politicians take the steps necessary to stop global warming. Today I join this march, and I take the first step.

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort bringing Americans together to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.

Clean Air - Cool Planet

Clean Air - Cool Planet

We're supporting the Virtual March on Washington because at Clean Air-Cool Planet, we know that global warming is already affecting our communities. We've documented indicators of climate change in our Northeast region including shorter winters, warmer temperatures and altered rain and snowfall patterns.* These changes impact the economies, communities, landscapes and wildlife of the Northeast, threatening everything from our beautiful sugar maples to our marine and coastal ecosystems, our winter recreation and tourism industries to our health and well-being.

We also know that solutions to this problem are available NOW; in fact, they're already being implemented by forward-thinking individuals and institutions everywhere. Clean Air-Cool Planet works with such leaders, advising corporations, communities and campuses across the Northeast how to cut their emissions of heat-trapping gases. We aim to showcase the possibilities and benefits inherent in such reductions. Just as important, through this work we are helping build support for clean energy and global warming policies that will reduce carbon pollution in the region and beyond.

We urge you to join us in supporting the Stop Global Warming Virtual March on Washington because it's about people all over America, from every state and every community, and from all walks of life, making their voices heard. We must insist that our government and elected officials take their cue from the creativity and vision that proactive citizens are already demonstrating with everyday actions in their workplaces, schools and communities.
