If you’re already a Marcher, log-in here!

There is no more important cause than the call for action to save the planet on which we live. The evidence is here. The time is now. Add your voice to the 488,031 already marching. Join us.

By joining THE STOP GLOBAL WARMING VIRTUAL MARCH, we commit to each other that together, as our numbers grow, we will use our collective voices to demand that governments, corporations, and politicians take the steps necessary to stop global warming. Today I join this march, and I take the first step.

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort bringing Americans together to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.

Native Energy

Like you, we are greatly concerned about global warming and climate harm, and we know that developing more renewable energy projects will help us produce electricity without destroying our environment.

We are joining the March on Washington to raise awareness of the importance of moving toward renewable-friendly energy policies. The United States has the potential to be a technology leader in this area but is not recognizing this opportunity in the same manner as other countries in Europe and Asia. The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that wind-generated electricity that the Great Plains could supply could meet 75% of the current electricity needed by the lower 48 states. This region has been dubbed the "Saudi Arabia of wind". In addition, the American Wind Energy Association estimates there

is enough wind potential in the U.S. to produce 10,777 Billion kW hours of electricity annually - 3 times as much electricity as the country uses today!

By harnessing its ample wind, solar and biomass resources, the United States could:

1) drastically reduce co2 producing fossil fuel energy; 2) reduce the security risk from dependence on foreign oil, and, 3) create thousands of new jobs.

NativeEnergy is working with forward thinking businesses and individuals to get more safe and pollution-free wind, solar, and biomass energy projects projects up and running. We also believe that there is more to renewable energy development than the environmental benefits - social and economic justice is important too. By helping build clean energy projects built by Native American tribes and family farmers, our customers are not only fighting global warming, they are also helping build sustainable economies in our country's struggling communities.
