There is perhaps no more serious, frightening environmental problem threatening the Earth than climate change and Global Warming. It is evidence of the dangerous risks man takes by creating pollution capable of causing such dramatic disturbances to the fragile, natural harmony of the Earth's delicate ecosystems. It is symbolic proof that we are truly interdependent with nature and a calling to treat the Earth with respect and care. And we need to keep in mind that the Earth is not "ours" to exploit - it equally belongs to the generations of the future, as well as the many forms of life that share this planet with us. It is our ethical and spiritual obligation to act as responsible stewards on behalf of of the many tenants who call this planet home.
Since 1994, the EcoMall web site (http://www.ecomall.com) has been working to create awareness about issues related to the environment. Our mission at EcoMall.com is to offer the inspiration and the resources to begin a more sustainable, natural, environmentally-aware lifestyle. We believe it is important to become educated consumers and to use our buying power to support earth-friendly companies and choose products that are natural, healthy, reduce waste and minimize pollution. In addition, the EcoMall provides information and resources to become politically active in environmental issues, as well as network with other people, organizations and companies who support the environment, building a powerful collective movement and providing a sense of community.
That is why Ecomall.com has joined the Stop Global Warming Virtual March on Washington and we are asking our visitors to EcoMall.com to do the same. By joining our voices together, we can send a powerful message to Congress and the Bush Administration that we must take immediate action to reverse the climate changes that currently threaten all of life here on our Mother Earth.
Now is the time to reverse our dangerous course, evolving our consciousness and actions in a more enlightened direction that protects and serves the future of humanity and this beautiful planet. Each one of us has the power to make a difference and become a part of the solution, and contribute to the Earth's protection and healing.
