There is no more important cause than the call for action to save the planet on which we live. The evidence is here. The time is now. Add your voice to the 488,062 already marching. Join us.

By joining THE STOP GLOBAL WARMING VIRTUAL MARCH, we commit to each other that together, as our numbers grow, we will use our collective voices to demand that governments, corporations, and politicians take the steps necessary to stop global warming. Today I join this march, and I take the first step.

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort bringing Americans together to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.

Taking Back Sunday

I recently went to see the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth'. It is Al Gore's movie. It is not about politics and I am not a democrat (that's another story). It is a movie about our global warming problem. Our global warming problem? I never really knew the deal with global warming so I started checking a lot of sources online. Is it for real? Is it debatable? Turns out, there's no grey area. Did you know that the 10 hottest years ever recorded, all happened in the last 14 years? That's crazy. It actually is getting hotter and the getting hotter is directly proportionate to how much we drive and how much energy we use. It's all about something called CO2. I just came back from Japan and had plenty of plane time to contemplate all this. It was shocking to me to see how much smaller cars were in Japan. At first I thought it was because they just liked things small there. No. It turns out in many parts of the world they are passing laws to lower pollution output. There is a lot we can do, and some say we can even stop, even reverse the damage. When I was growing up, many people looked at this issue as strictly 100 hippie bull. Last year's hurricane season is enough to prove that it isn't. Even if you hate Al Gore, please check out his movie. Even if you don't like when musicians talk politics (this is just plain science anyway), please go to www.climatecrisis.net... and pass on what you learn. Changing little things in your life can make a big difference. There is hope if together, we try. Join us on the Virtual March.
