Global warming is the most urgent issue of our time and since we are all contributors to global warming pollution we must all be part of the solution. Joining the Virtual March is the first step to joining the movement to demand solutions now. We all need to change, as individuals first, then as families, as schools, as cities, and as a country. But government doesn't change until people demand it. Just the way people started demanding it in 1963 when they marched in the streets on Washington to change the debate on civil rights. In 1970 twenty million turned out for the first Earth Day and demanded environmental protections. This led to the establishment of the EPA, Clean Air act and Endangered Species Act. People did that. People build movements and movements move mountains. And this mountain must be moved. Add your voice to the Stop Global Warming Virtual March and you will be counted. It only takes an email address. Think of ways to get others to join. Spreading the word is building the movement. We are already half a million strong! Let's grow our numbers into one clear loud cry for action. This is not about politics, it's about ethics. It is against every value we all hold near and dear to know we are altering life, wrecking havoc on our climate system and weather patterns - and continue to do nothing about it! We can solve this, but we need to start today. Small actions done by millions can help get us there. The solution is you!
