By joining THE STOP GLOBAL WARMING VIRTUAL MARCH, we commit to each other that together, as our numbers grow, we will use our collective voices to demand that governments, corporations, and politicians take the steps necessary to stop global warming. Today I join this march, and I take the first step.

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort bringing Americans together to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.

Carole King

I'm marching because I'm fed up to here with corporate interests dominating every aspect of our lives.  I'm tired of being lied to by greedy individuals who will say whatever they think we want to hear, yet they refuse to spend even a fraction of their seven-figure incomes to protect the atmosphere. I've had it with these people telling us there isn't a problem, and even if there is, they say, it doesn't matter. Of course there's a problem, and of course it matters not only to our children and grandchildren, but to theirs.

The technology exists today to reverse global warming.  Implementing this technology will generate new jobs and new businesses, so it makes economic sense as well as environmental sense.  Saving a few dollars in the short run by not taking all the necessary precautions to stop killing people and adversely affecting the global climate doesn't make any sense at all.

The world doesn't belong to corporate interests.  It belongs to all of us. We need to take it back.  If there's even a chance that these people are poisoning our atmosphere and air, why would anyone not want to fix it?  I want to fix it, and I want our government leaders and legislators to fix it. That's why I'm marching.

Okay, now that youšve read this, don't just sit there.  Please join me and all the others on the march to end the climate crisis.  If you believe in a higher power by whatever name, you surely know that polluting isn't God's work.  Ending pollution is.  Be there.
